It was a privilege to meet you at the CHOGM Youth Forum in Samoa, where the discussions about uniting young leaders from across the Commonwealth left a deep impression. The idea of a ‘network of networks’ is timely, especially in our current world, where collaboration and understanding across cultures and geographies are increasingly essential for effective leadership. I appreciate the focus on including existing local and national leadership efforts and seeing how this institute can add unique value.

Bringing young leaders together through the Commonwealth Leadership Institute will give us a powerful chance to share our experiences and knowledge while learning from one another in a supportive, trusting environment. The chance to exchange insights across boundaries—geographic, cultural, and professional—is a fantastic opportunity to broaden perspectives and foster solutions to some of the most pressing issues we face.

I’m excited about the Commonwealth Leadership Institute and its potential to connect young leaders across the Commonwealth. I’m speaking for the youth when I say I support the vision of identifying, connecting and empowering young leaders to address current and future crises together.

The proposed components, such as immersive leadership experiences, fellowships and virtual platforms align with the needs of emerging leaders including myself and Im excited to be part of it. I’m proud to be part of the Commonwealth family and believe CLI will strengthen our bonds and collective impact.
